‘Diamond Glands’ is a reference to “Diamond Hands” an internet trading term for holding a stock for a very long time, which works because we planned on holding it back for years. Since the name also creates the mental image of faceted glands it seemed very fitting. From our 2022-23 breeding run.. held back for 3 years because of the multi-gland trait, mainly to breed with as a key only we possess. There are just a few cornerstone genetics of ours: ‘Sugar Coat’ was very important and pivotal in our lineage. Providing the weak-neck and first multi-gland trichomes. ‘JOMO’ was another home run for us, to progress GMO’s chemical funk into something that stands alone while also pushing gland size was a big move for us. So when we “grandma” backcrossed ‘Sugar Coat’ with ‘JOMO’ it created a trichome monster that made the multi-gland trait very apparent. We then noticed the same trait on ‘JOMO the Hutt‘. There will be ‘JOMO’ leaners and SC leaners, all completely covered in short fat white glands. Layered flavor from each plant with earthy fresh black dirt as a common theme. Sometimes the chemmy funk from ‘JOMO’ can be up front. With others the sweetness from ‘Sugar Coat’ takes the lead. Faster growing, usually short plants, with large spear shaped colas. We’re excited to finally get to share one of our integral genetics with the community. ‘Diamond Glands’ has arrived.
